Trusted Pro Network
Beginning in October 2020, the organization is introducing the ‘Trusted Pro Network’; the goal of the program is to provide quality home repair work to aging in place homeowners with care, integrity and affordable pricing. Inspired by the Beacon Hill Village movement, we are assembling a network of professional, experienced contractors dedicated to servicing elderly, disabled and veteran homeowners by providing essential repairs and critical home modifications at affordable prices. These projects exceed the scope of work and abilities of the organization and require skilled, professional contractors. Trust is vital when searching for home repair contractors. Partnering with local vendors and trade organizations, the trusted professionals will be part of a vetted network as to quality of work, insurance coverage, affordable pricing, background check and possible discounts to the aging-in-place community.
Another key element of the Trusted Pro Network is to protect against predatory home repair contractors taking advantage of poor, distressed and underprivileged homeowners in desperate need of essential repairs and critical home modifications. In October 2020, this new activity will be introduced and conducted in neighboring communities that lack these essential and critical services throughout Central New York by volunteers in partnership local trade organizations and vendors. .
